boNGO is a Malawian NGO established in 2007 with the aim of providing children an environment that enables them to develop their full physical, mental and social potentials. Therefore boNGO:

 

 

(1) Increases the quality of early childhood education (project Model Childcare Centers and project Teacher Training).

(2) In primary schools improves the learning environment (project Happy Classrooms).

(3) Introduces an innovative way of HIV awareness amongst the youth (project Zione in Schools).

 

 

Since 2009 is boNGO active also in the Czech Republic and Switzerland where it works in the field of development education.

13.11.2011 boNGO’s Director raises funds through singing in Chichewa

Managing Director of boNGO Tereza Mirovicova raises funds for boNGO projects through singing performances. She sings in Chichewa and you may invite her to your functions in Blantyre. More info here. 13.03.2011 launching an innovative project on HIV/AIDS prevention among youth

boNGO introduces an educational film called Zione (trailer), made especially for the Malawi youths. It is a story of a secondary school student Zione who is forced by the death of her father to support the rest of her family and starts with prostitution. The new project Zione at Malawi schools brings the movie to the primary and secondary schools all over the country with the aim of being a platform for open discussion about love/relationships and showing the importance of using condoms.
